Rotate the layout without restarting the player's progress

Teaching laboratory. Cases run in this page against the authored functions. This is not a device panel, network approval, analytics-delivery proof or campaign result. Inputs are synthetic.

A resize handler can accidentally behave like a new game. This fixture checks the boundary between presentation state and the player's progress when the available orientation changes.

Primary documentation: MDN: orientation state (body read 2026-09-19).

What a pass does not prove

A passing result proves that the supplied progress survives this model transition. It does not prove that sprites, hit regions, audio or the actual host's resize events behave correctly. State preservation and geometric correctness are separate acceptance conditions; both must pass before a real playable is considered usable after rotation.
