Editorial independence

The review and disclosure requirements for UA Ledger's editorial work.

Editorial work must distinguish facts, interpretation, commercial claims and hypothetical examples. Exact source documents should support factual claims. Payments, gifts and relevant commercial interests must be disclosed; payment cannot buy a favourable independent conclusion.

Any sponsored material must be visibly labelled at the point of reading and kept distinct from independent coverage. Advertising and sponsorship products have not launched.

New publication and substantive refreshes require a named human reviewer to approve the exact version. The imported archive has incomplete source and review records. An organizational byline is not a human sign-off.

Material factual corrections require a dated, visible explanation of what changed and why. Historical archive dates do not establish when a page first appeared publicly.

This page states editorial requirements; it does not assert that every legacy article already meets them. See methodology and archive limitations and contact details.
