Rewarded placement map: session minute versus ad load

Map rewarded opt-in moments to AdMob reward-policy and placement guidance before raising session ad load.

Operators often treat “more rewarded per session” as a revenue dial. AdMob’s published rules fix disclosure, opt-in and reward type first; they do not publish a numeric “ads per session minute” law on the pages below.

Documented host rules

Policies for ad units that offer rewards require clear, accurate, conspicuous disclosure of the action and reward before each rewarded instance; icons are allowed only if unambiguous. Bundled watches (“watch 3 ads for 100 gold”) must state the count. Standard rewarded units must follow an affirmative opt-in; skipping or declining must not impede normal app use. Direct monetary rewards are forbidden; random rewards need chance disclosure and a greater-than-zero chance.

Implementation guidance places interstitial and rewarded formats at transition points (for example between levels), not during peak engagement. Encouraging users to click ads is prohibited. Banner refresh guidance is ≥60 seconds — a placement hygiene note, not a rewarded frequency quota.

UA implicationRaise load only after disclosure/opt-in pass; retention cost is your measurement, not Google’s quota

Do not invent industry “best” rewarded counts. Re-read the AdMob pages when formats change.
