Huawei AppGallery requires game ISBN docs and BizID anti-addiction verification for China games

Huawei’s AppGallery Policy Center page Business License and Certificate Review Requirements for Apps (section Game Copyright and Publication Approval Number Requirements, body recovered 20 September 2026) tells game developers what China-distribution documentation AppGallery expects. Research dates the policy update as 3 August 2026; confirm the live page stamp when you next open it. Without matching materials, a China game listing remains blocked at review.

What the policy requires

For games, copyright materials include a Computer Software Copyright Registration Certificate, App Electronic Copyright Certificate, or Software Copyright Certificate, plus a copyright authorisation letter when the uploader is not the copyright owner.

Publication-approval materials include:

1. An ISBN Issuance Certificate for Online Games, or an Approval Document for the Publication and Operations of Mobile Online Games.
2. An authorisation letter from the operating entity when the uploader is not the operator named on that approval document.
3. A BizID verification request: after linking the game with Huawei in the online-game anti-addiction identity verification system and obtaining a BizID, submit that BizID in AppGallery Connect under Operate → BizID verification and wait for approval.

The same section states the game name must match the publication approval document and be verifiable on the NPPA site or the Game Publishers Association Publications Committee site.
