MIIT app-filing supervision and inspection window April–June 2024

The same MIIT 2023 filing notice scheduled a April–June 2024 supervision phase against ISPs, app stores and OEMs for unfiled apps.

After the stock filing phase, 工信部信管〔2023〕105号 scheduled a supervision and inspection stage for April–June 2024. This record is the follow-on window written into that August 2023 notice, not a separate 2026 decree. Read it beside the stock-deadline card rather than as a free-standing ban list.

What the inspection stage said

MIIT would organise APP filing checks. Provincial communications administrations were to push hosts to file, supplement or update records, and inspect apps that network-access providers, distribution platforms and smart-terminal makers accessed, distributed or pre-installed. Apps that still had not filed, or that engaged in illegal activity, were to be handled under applicable laws and regulations.

From July 2024 onward the notice moves into a “normalised” stage: regular accuracy assessments of filing information, technical measures for APP compliance management, and ongoing supervision. The notice itself does not publish a list of delisted titles, store-by-store removal counts, or campaign-level UA outcomes for the spring 2024 window. Those outcomes, if needed, require separate dated store or provincial notices.
