Zenless Zone Zero Xbox Series X|S launch dated 6 June 2025 (Xbox Wire)

On 23 May 2025, Xbox Wire published a piece by Zenless Zone Zero producer Zhenyu Li stating that HoYoverse’s free-to-play urban fantasy ARPG Zenless Zone Zero would arrive on 6 June on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Cloud Gaming. The page we opened on 20 September 2026 still carries that launch date, an Xbox Store link for the title, and an exclusive Xbox Starter Pack listing.

What the Xbox Wire page documents

The announcement frames Version 2.0 (“Waifei Peninsula” / Season 2) as shipping alongside the Xbox client. It lists Xbox-side features: DirectX RayTracing, HDR, native 4K at a stated stable 60 FPS, controller vibration, Quick Resume, and cross-progression so players can link existing accounts from other platforms. Game Pass Ultimate members are promised recurring login bonuses after major version updates; every Xbox player can claim the in-game title “The Xenless” after launch. The Starter Pack contents (Master Tape ×2, Denny, investigator logs, W-Engine mats) are itemised on the same page.

What this page is not

This is a Microsoft / HoYoverse platform announcement for a console and cloud SKU. It is not an NPPA banhao row, not a China soft-launch schedule, and not evidence of mobile UA spend, CPI or creative performance. It does not state that Xbox was the first platform, or that mobile UA paused when the console client went live.
