Philippines / SEA soft-launch card for hybridcasual F2P

Philippines soft-launch card for hybridcasual F2P with documented Play payment routes (cards, carriers, eWallets, cash) and IAA-relevant store checks; no CPI claims.

Hybridcasual soft launches in the Philippines need working IAP routes and honest device/payment expectations. Google’s Philippines payment methods document cards (American Express, Discover, JCB, Mastercard, UnionPay, Visa); carriers Dito, Smart Communications, Sun; eWallets GCash, PayMaya, ShopeePay; PayPal; and cash at 7-Eleven and ECPay for in-app purchases (cash cannot pay subscriptions). A dated note states Globe Telecom mobile billing stopped for new Google Play subscription sign-ups on 8 July 2024, with existing subscribers asked to update payment methods before September 2024.

Soft-launch checks for hybridcasual

  1. IAA + IAP both instrumented. Rewarded placements and a small IAP pack must each complete on a PH account before media scale.
  2. Wallet coverage. Prefer GCash/PayMaya/ShopeePay test accounts for the buyer journey your creatives imply.
  3. Cash path. If you claim cash purchase support, test 7-Eleven/ECPay IAP only — never mark it as subscription evidence.
  4. Carrier billing. Treat Dito/Smart/Sun as optional routes; prepaid and dual-SIM caveats apply per Google’s troubleshooting notes.
  5. Device tier. Record min SDK and texture settings used in the soft launch; this card does not invent a PH device-share statistic.
  6. No CPI fiction. Kill criteria remain internal.
