LevelPlay Performance Reports are account filters, not a bid index

Unity’s public Performance Reports define eCPM for your mediated apps—not an industry sample you can paste into a forecast.

Unity LevelPlay’s public documentation describes Performance Reports for mediated apps you already run—not a published industry performance index with a disclosed sample you can paste into a bid forecast. Performance reports.

Read the dashboard for what it is

The docs state that all apps with at least one active ad unit appear in Performance Reports, with optional ironSource Network-only views. Filters cover date range, platform, ad format, ad network, app and country. Supported metrics include revenue, impressions and eCPM, defined as effective cost per thousand impressions.

Those figures describe the filtered population inside one account. They are not a census of mobile-game demand, a genre benchmark or a recommended bid. An eCPM cell that mixes rewarded and interstitial supply, or mixes US and LATAM countries, answers a different question from a single-country, single-format plan.

Refuse the paste-into-forecast habit

Our editorial recommendation is to treat any LevelPlay eCPM export as an internal diagnostic unless the export’s filters, period and ad-unit set are restated next to the number. If a partner deck shows a “LevelPlay performance index” without naming population, period and aggregation, mark the industry-sample fields missing rather than inventing denominators.

The attached card records what Unity publishes: metric definitions and account-report scope. It does not invent an undisclosed global index.
