Apple custom product page for a limited F2P event

Checklist for using an Apple custom product page to spotlight a limited F2P event under ASC limits.

Apple allows up to 70 custom product pages per app, each with unique URL, localised screenshots/previews/promotional text/keywords, requiring App Review approval (ASC help; CPP overview). CPPs are visible via deep link or optional search keywords; otherwise the default page shows. Deep links for Open require iOS/iPadOS 18+ and approval.

Operator checklist

  1. One event hook on the CPP (season, character, mode).
  2. Event end date owned; disable or replace the CPP when the event ends.
  3. UA URL in ads equals the CPP URL.
  4. Keywords unique per CPP if search visibility is enabled.
  5. Deep link tested on iOS 18+ if used.
  6. Review buffer before the event goes live.
  7. Analytics: App Analytics needs ≥5 first-time downloads before CPP metrics appear — plan QA traffic accordingly.

Limits

Apple’s published average conversion lift figures are vendor marketing; not re-measured here.
