WeChat mini-game virtual-payment incentives for 2026: 60% cash, launch bonuses, 22 Sep account lock

Official WeChat docs run a 2026 virtual-payment incentive plan for Android, HarmonyOS and PC mini games, with 60% cash share, layered ad credits, and a 22 September 2026 lock that routes launch credits only to the current game’s advertiser account.

WeChat’s developer documentation 2026年微信小游戏虚拟支付激励政策 (Android, HarmonyOS and PC), opened 19 September 2026, states a 2026 virtual-payment incentive plan from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026. Headline cash share is 60% of flow. Two upgrades called out at the top of the page: stage-two launch incentives can be claimed on a monthly settlement (no need to wait until cumulative 50 million then settle once), and from 22 September 2026 launch-new-game incentive credits (stages one and two) may be transferred only to the current mini-game’s advertiser account.

The Chinese text prevails over any machine translation on that page.

What every game can claim

Base incentive credit: each game may receive 10% of monthly net flow as base credit, unlocked via spend; after qualifying cash spend the page states a credit equal to 50% of that spend.

Older-title limited option: titles whose first day above 100,000 daily flow is more than three years ago, and whose rating is S or A, get an extra claim path once cash spend reaches 1× the claim amount. Credits may move only to advertiser accounts under the current or associated entity, with no second hop. That limited option runs through 31 December 2026.

Growth credit: every 2 million of Android cash spend in the trailing 30 days unlocks a 5% growth credit; multiple thresholds may be claimed.

Launch-period stack

“Launch period” on this page means a mini game built on WeChat mini-game tech and first released and continuously operated on the WeChat mini-game platform. For 1 January–31 December 2026, titles that meet that definition also get:

BlockDocumented rule
Stage one (first-release)During the new-game window, first **10 million** cumulative flow: **40%** of monthly net flow as credit (per-title cap **4 million**)
Stage two (first-release)Once monthly flow hits **10 million** inside the new-game window: **six months** of **40%** on the **10–50 million** band (per-title cap **16 million**); combined with stage one, **50 million** flow without platform share and **20 million** credit ceiling
Non-first-release new gameFirst **1 million** flow at **40%** monthly net (cap **40,000**)
Launch growth cashFirst-release titles: every **2 million** trailing-30-day Android/Harmony/PC flow → **5%** cash (games released after **1 January 2025**)
Launch heating creditFirst-release titles with monthly net IAP **≥500,000**: one-time **50,000** heating credit, at most once per game (games released **1 January–31 December 2026**)

Stage-one new-game window: 12 months from the month cumulative flow exceeds 100,000. Backend first-release judgement on the page starts 21 January; Q&A states the 2026 plan itself runs 1 January–31 December 2026.

Settlement, reuse and clawback

Base and legacy new-game credits settle monthly and may move to any mini-game advertiser account under the same entity. Launch-new-game credits settle monthly and, from 22 September 2026, only to that game’s advertiser account. Growth credits settle by day and are Android-channel only for that game. All ad/heating credits expire 365 days after issue if unused.

The page lists clawback triggers: IP infringement, gambling, pornography, fraud; breaches of virtual-item payment or user-ops norms; and moving users or flow to harvest credits beyond entitlement.

A separate PC incentive block and an iOS limited fee-relief block (MAPP / Apple commission context through 31 December 2026) sit on the same page; treat them as parallel tracks, not as substitutes for the Android/Harmony/PC cash-and-credit schedule above.
