Canada iOS entry card: plan two copy reviews before one combined result
Analysis
By UA Ledger staff — 2 min read

A scoped Canada launch card covering Apple storefront evidence, payment-route checks and english and french candidate variants review; no market-size or CPI assumptions.
A Canada launch can hide a localisation experiment inside a media experiment. Decide which language variants are actually in scope before combining their install and purchase results. This card proposes separate copy review; it does not claim that two variants cover every Canadian player.
What the official record establishes
Apple’s service-availability record includes the App Store in its Canada section. Its payment-method record lists Apple Pay and PayPal. These examples are not an exhaustive list: the live source’s eligibility notes still apply, and the page says methods can change. Storefront availability does not establish that your particular game is approved, distributed or purchasable there.
The first test to run
Create distinct creative identifiers for each language treatment while holding the offered game mechanic constant. Capture the actual store destination and purchase sheet for each reviewed path. If one path has not passed, report it as untested rather than averaging its missing observations into the other.
Localise the observed journey
Commission reviewers for the variants you intend to ship and have each complete the same first-session task. Record text truncation, unclear reward wording and support-route comprehension. Language selection is a product choice to validate; national labels are not reliable substitutes for a player’s preferred language.

Keep the decision tied to evidence
Use the editable launch checklist and CSV evidence matrix to keep documented availability separate from actual tests. Both include explicit untested states. The country card supplies no CPI, ROAS, payer-share estimate or legal clearance. Local expert review, game-specific distribution checks and real account observations remain outstanding.
Before a paid test, define the campaign identifiers, install cohort, offer event and purchase outcome you intend to reconcile. Inspect a permitted test transaction end to end, then preserve the raw event references. A successful walkthrough establishes implementation evidence for that case; it cannot establish campaign incrementality or expected acquisition economics.
