Synthetic lab comparing payer rate among playable completers versus video viewers; AppsFlyer in-app events supply the revenue-event definition.
Completion is not quality; midcore labs must track payers. AppsFlyer in-app events is the definitional page for logging revenue events with unique identifiers. Unity’s playable specifications define what a playable asset is on that network — not what “complete” means in your analytics. Define completion in your event taxonomy before reading this lab.
Define the calculation
Payer rate = paying users / cohort users. Compare playable-completer cohort vs video-viewer cohort over the same post-install window (synthetic: D7).
Synthetic example
Playable completers 2,000 → payers 160 → 8.0%. Video viewers 5,000 → payers 250 → 5.0%. Completer payer rate is higher on these inputs; that is not a universal law.
| Output | Worked-example result |
|---|---|
| Playable completer payer % | 8.0000 |
| Video viewer payer % | 5.0000 |
| Absolute gap pp | 3.0000 |
Evidence and limits
Revenue events follow AppsFlyer’s in-app event guidance. Cohort sizes and payer counts are synthetic. Do not publish these percentages as industry benchmarks.
