Separate announced App Store tools from available workflows, and check eligibility, asset review and attribution history before planning around them.

Apple's WWDC26 App Store guide describes new creative-asset workflows, personalised discovery and subscription options. Product eligibility and rollout timing must be checked separately from announcement. This article's earlier claim that the previous WWDC left attribution unchanged was incorrect.

Subscription bundles: verify eligibility

Apple describes Subscription Bundles and Suites across apps. The checked guide does not establish that unrelated developers can combine their subscriptions. A studio considering a bundle should verify developer-account eligibility, requested access and storefront availability before treating this as a campaign capability. The earlier cross-developer claim is withdrawn pending evidence.

Personalized Collections and store discovery

Personalized Collections offers recommendations based on a user’s interests. Apple describes limited availability by country and app, with expansion planned. The checked guide does not establish the original article’s English-only, US-first claim. Review the applicable storefront information before assuming a particular game is eligible. Metadata preparation is an editorial recommendation, not evidence that it will produce additional installs.

Asset Library separates creative-asset submission from an app submission; it does not eliminate asset approval. Apple's guide describes a fall rollout. Confirm access and approval status in the relevant account before making a production calendar depend on the workflow.

Apple's WWDC25 AdAttributionKit session introduced overlapping re-engagement measurement, configurable attribution rules, geography data and testing improvements. The earlier comparison with an unchanged previous year was wrong. Absence of an attribution announcement in one WWDC26 guide is not proof that the framework had no changes; check version-specific documentation before changing engineering plans.

Keep discovery workflow decisions separate from fee policy. Apple's June 2025 announcement described a planned transition; a planned date is not evidence of completed implementation. The later August 2026 update sets out changes effective 1 October. This correction records later evidence rather than pretending it was available when the archived article was dated.

For creative planning, list each announced capability, confirmed account access, review requirement and expected delivery date. Give engineering a verified requirement instead of a broad claim that attribution infrastructure can be ignored. Treat the discovery effect on acquisition as a hypothesis to measure after rollout.
