Game Center has both a build-side and a configuration-side gate

A game feature needs the entitlement and the corresponding App Store Connect setup.
Game Center readiness has two places to fail: the submitted application and its store-side configuration. Apple’s requirement names both, so a campaign that depends on social competition should not rely on a check of only one side.
Match the build to the configured feature
Our suggested handoff records the app identifier, build version and intended achievement or leaderboard. The engineer verifies the entitlement in that build; the release owner verifies the corresponding configuration. This is especially useful when a publisher maintains several similar titles or separate test and production environments.
Then walk through the player promise. If an ad invites friends to compete, identify the actual route from install to the relevant feature. Technical submission eligibility alone says little about whether a new player can understand or find that route.
Keep measurement claims separate
Nothing in the platform requirement establishes retention improvement, network effects or lower CPI. Those are campaign or product hypotheses requiring their own evidence. The control described here is narrower: the application should be configured to offer the feature being promoted.
The supplied artifact can sit beside a launch checklist without becoming a universal endorsement of Game Center. Recheck after bundle changes, entitlement changes or a new game-services integration. A reviewer should be able to see which build was checked and which configuration was read, rather than inheriting a single unexplained green tick.
The governing record is Game Center entitlement and configuration requirement. This edition checks the provider documentation; it does not inspect a studio account or certify a shipped build.
Inspect the evidence
