Royal Match: a ‘solve it’ hook, an ad-free claim, and a match-3 store page

One Meta Ad Library Royal Match record leads with a solve-it challenge and zero-ads copy; the Play listing still leads with match-3 castle decoration and ‘100% ad free’. Performance unknown.
One identified Royal Match ad opens on a challenge line and a no-ads claim. The Play Store page, opened the same day, still sells match-3 castle decoration and repeats that the product is ad-free. This is a promise map, not a campaign result.
The identified ad
Meta Ad Library ID 1309645668892427 is listed for Royal Match. On 19 September 2026 the library index showed the record as Active, started 18 August 2026, with a ~1:00 video. Observed listing text: hook “Think you can solve it?”; supporting copy “Decorate King Robert's Castle by solving puzzles along the way!”; overlay/primary variants on the same advertiser page also use “NO ADS” / “ZERO ADS. FREE.”; destination Play com.dreamgames.royalmatch; CTA variants Install Now / Play Game. Video frames are not reproduced here.
Library visibility is not spend, CTR, CPI or ROAS. This check did not play the video shot-by-shot in a logged-in browser, so pin-pull or other non-match-3 enactments are not asserted for this library ID.
Store comparison
The US Play listing (opened 19 September 2026; updated 28 August 2026) describes swiping colours, match-3 levels, decorating King Robert’s castle, events such as King's Cup, and states: “And BOOM! It is 100% ad free and no wifi needed - internet free.” The short store line under the screenshots is the same decorate-by-solving sentence used in the ad. Contains in-app purchases.
| Field | Ad library listing (observed) | Google Play (opened 19 Sep 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Hook / lead | Think you can solve it? / ZERO ADS | Welcome to Royal Match, the king of puzzle games; swipe colours, match-3 |
| Mechanic / promise | Decorate King Robert’s castle by solving puzzles | Match-3 levels, castle decoration, events, boosters |
| Ads claim | NO ADS / ZERO ADS. FREE | 100% ad free and no wifi needed |
| CTA | Install Now / Play Game | Install |
| Performance | Unknown | Not a campaign readout |
Observed: the library text and the store body quoted above. Not observed: whether this specific video shows a match-3 board or a different interaction; whether the live client still serves no interstitial or rewarded ads.
A usable next check
Hold the end card and store destination constant. Test a match-3 board open against a challenge/no-ads open. Readout: unprompted description of the first session (board vs other puzzle; expectation of ads). Do not treat a library favourite or review complaint as the test result.
| Test element | Proposed specification |
|---|---|
| Control | Match-3 board and castle decoration, no “zero ads” super |
| Variant | Challenge hook plus zero-ads super, same CTA and store URL |
| Readout | First-session expectation (mechanic + ads) |
| Stop | Reject if the live client contradicts the ads claim in the tested build |
Background: What a good creative brief looks like. Archive context only.
Research checked 19 September 2026. Local draft; human editorial review pending. Performance unknown.
