Energy systems: what the ad may promise versus session 1

Checklist aligning energy-system ad promises with session-1 reality under store accurate-metadata rules.
Ads that promise unlimited runs while session 1 hard-gates on energy create refunds. Apple 2.3 Accurate Metadata and 2.1 App Completeness frame the store-side expectation that marketing matches the shipped experience.
Operator checklist
- State the session-1 energy cap in the creative brief (numeric).
- Refill method shown in the ad must exist in session 1 (timer, IAP, rewarded video).
- No “unlimited” language unless the build truly has no energy gate for that mode.
- Rewarded-video refill: If the ad shows an ad-for-energy loop, mediation must be live in the build under review.
- Paywall timing: Energy paywall may not appear earlier than the brief states.
- Screenshot proof: Capture session-1 energy HUD beside the endcard claim.
- Kill: Reject creatives that show modes locked behind energy the new user cannot yet access.
Facts vs limits
Store guidelines require accurate representation; they do not prescribe a specific energy economy. Numeric caps above are studio inputs.
